What is it?

Respondus is a Windows application that enhances the functionality and usability of Blackboard Vista's assessment tool and it can also be used to develop tests for traditional classes.

There is also a version called Respondus LE which is for "print only" creation, and is free.

Download, Publish Settings, and Upgrading

UNC Charlotte is using Blackboard Vista version 4 and Users of Respondus will need version 3.0.

• Publish to Blackboard Vista Respondus settings, Upgrading, and Removing Older Versions can be located in the Respondus 3.x folder in the Demo and Orientation - Faculty Resources course. Use the Downloading Respondus link above.

Request Respondus

UNC Charlotte has obtained a campus-wide license for the Respondus 3.0 software.

Due to licensing agreements you must obtain the installation password by logging in to Blackboard Vista, going to the Faculty Resources “course”, and clicking on the Respondus link. If you are not using Blackboard Vista, or do not have access to the Faculty Resources course, but would like to install Respondus, please use the form below.
