49er Express: Faculty Accessing 49er Express

49er Express is UNC Charlotte’s new information portal. Faculty, staff and students will now be able to access campus and personal information from one central gateway.

Step 1: Accessing 49er Express

1. You may access 49er Express from the UNC Charlotte home page either one of two ways:
   • By clicking the 49er Express login link in the upper right corner.
   • By clicking the 49er Express button in the left menu.

Step 2: Logging In to 49er Express

1. Once you have accessed the 49er Express login page, enter your username and password. NOTE: Your 49er Express username will be the same as your UNC Charlotte Novell username. NOTE: Your initial password will be your six digit date of birth or the last six digits of your ID number. The first time you log in to 49er Express you will be prompted to change your password. You will also be asked three security questions that you must answer.
2. Click Login.

Step 3: Session Timeout Prompt

Your 49er Express session will automatically prompt you to continue your session every hour, this should not affect your Blackboard Vista session. NOTE: If you plan to work exclusively in Blackboard Vista we recommend that you close the background 49er Express window to ensure your work is not disrupted.
